16 Countries attended the 9th Ameripol Summit (The Police Community and cooperation of the Americas) which was held in Panama City on the 22nd and 23rd of September. In the agenda of the meeting of Ameripol a space was taken for social activities. The President of the UDEPP ( Pan American Police Sport Union) Brig. General Gonzalo Londono invited attendees of countries to be linked to the UDEPP.
Thereby the President of UDEPP and member of the Executive Committee of the USIP also invited the attendees to the 2nd USIP World Police Games which will be held in November 2017 in Abu Dhabi (UAE). In this matter invitations were delivered with the signature of the Director of Police of Colombia. During the Ameripol meeting was decided that each Ameripol member appoint a coordinator and liaison for purposes of canalize and distribute information about the USIP and the 2nd USIP World Police Games.
