The 2nd USIP World Police Service Pistol Shooting Championship came to a successful conclusion on November 19th. Over five days the competitors from 73 countries and regions have given their best during the contest at the Guangdong Police Training Center.

After a 5-day competition, China’s Team 1, Belarus and Hungary took the top three  spots on the leader board.“Holding the competition has been a great opportunity for Chinese police to exchange knowledge and experience with police around the world,” said Mr Li Chunsheng, Vice-Governor of Guangdong. “Chinese police will further strengthen their capacity in tackling crime and protecting public property.” Vice-Governor Li invited police from all over the world to visit China and Guangdong Province and intensify future cooperation in police affairs.

“The competition could not have been held successfully without the effort and passion of the Guangdong’s organizing committee,” said Mr Sandro Dirckx, Secretary General of the USIP. “All delegations have felt the great hospitality and warmth of the Guangdong’s police and people, which made them feel at home here.”
