Dear friends of the police sports, dear representatives of the USIP member countries,

The Czech National Union of Police Sports is preparing the organization of a World Tournament in Ice Hockey of the Police Teams to be held in the Czech Republic in April 2015.

We would like to invite all the interested ice hockey teams of policemen, either as national or regional teams, to participate in this Championship held in Liberec, Czech Republic.

Number of teams expected: 8 – 20
Play system: 2 groups by 4 teams or 4 groups by 5 teams
Matches guaranteed: at least 5
Playing time in groups: 2×20 minutes net time
Playing time in the final and game for the bronze: 3×20 minutes
Players will play with limited body contact.
Tournament fee per team: 500 EUR
Participation fee/Boarding and Lodging/person/night: in three price categories, to be clarified
Cultural and sightseeing programme: to be clarified

Naturally, an early arrival or extended stay is possible with the help of the organizer. If your policemen are interested in the participation in the tournament, do not hesitate to contact us, as soon as possible.
Prolonged deadline of the preliminary registration: 30th June 2014. In July we will send to all interested teams our detailed information and our official invitation.

Up to this day we register a preliminary interest : Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Switzerland, Austria, United Kingdom, Northern Ireland and Canada. Who´s next?
