USIP President Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al Sabah, Secretary General Mr Sandro Dirckx and their USIP delegation members visit on the 7th and 8th May the IOC headquarters of the International Olympic Committee ( IOC) in Lausanne. On both days meetings where planned with representatives of the IOC to talk about strengthen the relation with the IOC and the USIP and possible future support of the IOC.

An USIP delegation under leadership of USIP President Lt-Gen. Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah visit in the Netherlands the new headquarters of the USIP. Last March the USIP congress approved that the new headquarters will be moved from Poland to the Netherlands. The main reason was the appointment of the new USIP Secretary General Mr Sandro Dirckx from the Netherlands.

USIP president meets Russian Veteran Judo Union |

 The President of USIP Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has met last April in Moscow the President of the National Veteran Judo Union, Mr Pavel Balsky.
USIP President Sheikh Ahmad said that this meeting is considered as the first step towards the development of relations and strengthening common bonds between USIP and the Russian Sport Federation.

During his official visit to the Netherlands, USIP President Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah and his delegation had a meeting in The Haque with the incoming deputy Police Chief of the Dutch National Police, Chief Constable Mr. Ruud Bik and Commissioner Mrs Patricia Zorko, chief of Police of the Netherlands Police Agency.

The new USIP headquarters just opened her doors in the Netherlands in the beginning of May. The office of the General Secretary is located at Castle Staverden on the 900 hectare property of Geldersch Landschap in the centre of the Netherlands. The historic building and location offers excellent possibilities for future meetings, conferences and congresses of the USIP.
