Colombia the host of the 1st USIP World Police Games is after 5 days still leading with 62 medals in total. The Colombian National Police who is in charge of this event prepared not only their event well but also there athletes. Head of the organizing committee and Director of the Colombian National Police Academy Brig. General Gonzalo Londono said he worked with a detailed plan to organize this World event. One of the pilars of his operational plan were beside organizing the World Police Games the preparation and training of all Colombian Police athletes.
His plan worked well. The Colombian Police athletes took 28 gold medals sofar, 26 silver and 11 bronze medals.
Leading just behind Colombia are Ecuador and Bahrain with 32 and 10 medals.
