On February 21, 2024, the 31st meeting of the executive committee of USIP was held, during which the voluntary resignation of Mr. Sandro Dirckx from the Netherlands from the position of Secretary General of the organization was received, after several years of service.
Our President, Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al Sabah, the Executive Committee, and our members in general, thank Mr. Dirckx for his work during this time, wishing him success in his future endeavors.
Consequently, and unanimously, the executive committee of USIP appointed the Second Vice President, General Gonzalo Londoño P. from Colombia, as the new Secretary General for the period 2024 – 2025, with the confidence that thanks to his experience within our organization, his proven loyalty and initiative, as well as the work plan he presented during the meeting, the continuity of USIP’s management is guaranteed.
