Official visit of the USIP executive committee to the President of USPE

Athens, October 18th, 2024

The First Vice President of USIP, General Mohamed Al Daheri, accompanied by the Secretary General of USIP, General Gonzalo Londoño, the Chief of the Presidential Office, Brigadier Khalid Al Najar, along with Brigadier Tariq Al Sadani, Head of the Protocol Committee, formed the delegation that visited the President of the European Police Sports Union (USPE), Lieutenant Colonel Georgios Tzatzakis, at his headquarters in Athens.

The meeting focused on USIP’s future plans for the upcoming four-year period, with a key point being the next USIP General Assembly, which will take place in Abu Dhabi during the last week of February 2025, under the auspices of the Ministry of Interior of the United Arab Emirates.

General Mohamed Al Daheri extended a special invitation to Colonel Tzatzakis to not only participate individually but also urged him to encourage European countries, members of USIP, to be more active and engage in the organization’s planned activities for the future.

The host delegation prepared a special program for the members of the USIP Executive Committee to explore the city and its culture, further strengthening the bonds between the two organizations.
